Depression

Right now I live in a halfway house. I'm recovering from alcohol and drug dependancy. Trying to get some kind of life going, but its pretty hard. I'm usually pretty lost in my imagination. I'm trying this site because I liked addiction tribe for a while but my original problem is depression. I remember being in fourth grade and my teacher was explaining the concept of suicide, and I was thinking it sounded to good to be true, that there was a way out. Theres something that makes me different from people who never knew what it was like to wake up everyday and stare at the ceiling for a few hours wondering what went wrong.

Staying sober. Drawing and tattooing. Good books. Film noir. Online support tribes. Jokes. Gadgets. Money. Anything that smells nice. Riding my bike while listening to mp3's. Weekends and holidays.

All kinds of things but I try not to let anything get to me.
