For
those
of
you
who
have
read
my
blog,
"Suicide
Homework",
you
would
know
what
this
new
blog
is
about.
My
father
had
written
my
Health
teacher
the
note
about
how
can
I
not
do
the
assignment
since
it
is
about
suicide
and
my
best
friend
had
commited
to
it
a
year
ago.
Everything
that
concerns
this
topic
makes
me
emotional
and
anxiety/depressive
levels
high.
Here
is
the
note
my
father
had
written
for
those
of
you
who
wanted
to
know.
(my
name)'s
mother
and
I
have
noticed
a
significant
change
in
(my
name)
over
the
last
week.
When
we
asked
about
it,
she
told
us
there
have
been
some
recent
assignments
and
discussions
in
your
class
involving
the
topic
of
suicide.
So
that
you're
aware,
(my
name)
lost
her
best
friend
to
suicide
exactly
a
year
ago
in
January.
She
has
done
a
tremendous
job
in
trying
to
put
that
horrific
experience
behind
her,
but
this
topic
is
causing
a
lot
of
emotional
turmoil
to
resurface,
and
we
are
concerned
about
the
negative
effect
it's
having
on
her.
We
ask
that
(my
name)
be
excused
from
this
topic.
We
don't
expect
her
to
be
given
a
free
pass,
rather
we
propose
you
assign
her
something
else
she
could
do
in
the
library
during
those
class
hours
in
which
suicide
will
be
discussed.
Please
let
me
know
if
such
an
arrangement
will
be
possible,
but
under
no
circumstances
do
we
want
(my
name)
to
participate
in
any
further
assignments
or
classroom
discussions
related
to
the
topic
of
suicide.
Thank
you
so
much
for
understanding
and
cooperation.
Please
don't
hesitate
to
contact
me
if
you
have
any
questions.
I
can
be
reached
anytime
via
email,
phone,
or
text.
As
soon
as
I
read
that
letter,
I
felt
much
better
and
more
confident.
Thank
you
for
reading.
