Leslie ~~ please take care of yourself and be easy for the next few days. (((HUGS))) My thoughts are with you, and I'm sending positive thoughts your way. I agree with you about the Christmas tree; we leave it up well into January because it just makes things seem happier. And for me, this year I'm really feeling well enough to seriously decorate. By the time I'm done the house is going to look like it belongs in the North Pole! Okay, not quite that much, but still a lot of decorations.  ;-)   Hope you feel better soon my friend!  love and hugs ~ Key

People must be nisinformed.

The religious Christmas season extends from Christmas Eve to Jan6. The Epiphany. This is the true length of the religious observance.

Christmas does not extend from Black Friday to Dec.26

The schools are partly to blame. They want all signs of the holiday to be gone when the children return back from the hilidays, The message is it's time to get into the school work again.

Of course the Celebration was invented by business men with the emphasis of gift giving and decorating for the holidays. (sales opportunities)

Can't imagine why they'd do that! (sarcasm)
