Depression

I've had depression and mood disorder since a very young age and am taking two different meds for it. (Cymbalta & Abilify)
Also suffering from Osteoarthritis (in my back and knees) which hinders my ability to walk, stand or sit for long periods for which I'm also taking a slew of meds. Added to that, I also found out I'm diabetic! (Type 2 diabetes)
After losing my job upon the onset of my physical problems, I was forced to apply for and after waiting for months and months and months (which explains my long absence from here because I couldn't afford internet without any income!), I was finally awarded my disability and S.S.I.

Anywhoo, I'm outspoken (bluntly so at times!), sassy...or as others put it: spunky. I'm usually outgoing and like to meet people.
However, there are times when I tend to withdraw into myself and then I'll barely make a peep...or be seen, as I tend to isolate myself then.
To sum it up...I'm here to give support as best I can and to get support too.


Oh and by the way, I'm not really 78 years old. I'm just a smart-@$$ like that.

Waves of bright sunlight washing over me, a big bright full moon and the accompanying moonlight washing over me, intense thunderstorms, Dr. Pepper, chocolate milk, cats, I also like friendly and sincere people who aren't afraid to keep it real.

Judgmental and close-minded people, those who are rude, phony people who feel they must be someone they're not just to placate others, people who are abusive in any form, whether it be verbally, physically, emotionally or mentally.

I listen to all kinds of music, depending on my mood.

I used to read a lot but my attention span is basically shot now so about all I can manage to read anymore are magazines and blogs.

Twister, Titanic, Girl Interrupted, The Scary Movie series, The Saw series, Mean Girls, Shawshank Redemption, any flick by Michael Moore...just to name a few...

DT (obviously since I've twice before left and have now come back again), web/graphic design, writing (fiction, poetry and sometimes blogging), photography, listening to music, surfing the net, painting, drawing, chatting (if I'm in the right mood)...blahblahblah...lotsa other schtuff...
