i retired from construction after 30 years,i now own a landscaping company which is one of my passions.went in the Marines when i was 17(best thing i ever did,i was a bad kid.i found out very fast i wasn`t as tough as i thought i was!)served as a combat photographer.married,no children.2 dogs.(MY BABIES)!!!my first major depression was in 1986(lasted about a year),my second began in 1992.i have been in therapy and on meds ever since.overall i`m "doing ok" but still have sad and anxious times.a hard thing for me has been accepting that this illness is and will always be a part of my life.i`m just trying to make it a smaller part.thanks for stopping by and take care.les.

dogs,sports,gardening.i like being outside.

winter, gloomy days.i don`t like the fact that it`s hard for me to just relax and enjoy some of the success i`ve had(i`ve been lucky!),i`ve been working since i was 11 and it`s all i know,if i take time off i start feeling guilty, like i should be doing something.people who don`t try to understand what we deal with.i don`t want sympathy,i just wish people would try to educate themselves a little bit about our illness.also typing.(i just started typing about a year ago and i can never find the damn letter "k"!lol).

Thanx Les. I'm doing good today. I hope you've a wonderful day :). It's been raining non stop. Thank you for your message. You seem to know how it feels. I'm glad you understand. Like they say patience is a virtue. I guess we all do things that make no sense... but at times instead of forgiving, it's better to let go... maybe it's the way we were brought up to feel or manipulation to feel guilt for something we had nothing to do with? Take care. ~.*Iris*.~
