I've been suffering from severe depression for two years now, and my depression is now moderate. In the beginning, I didn't really know what depression was and because I didn't understand how serious it was, I didn't have motivation to do much about it. It's been the toughest thing I've ever gone through. I'm on prozac (now 60mgs) and it is really helping me! I'm seeing a Christian counselor and that too has really been helpful.

I've gone through a course of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) with a psychologist. I've been to a self-help group sometimes. I'm joining a new group soon.
