Depression Tribe

I'm 20 years old in my second year of college. I'm studying psychology (ironic, I know), but it's truly something that I'm passionate about. I'm also studying creative writing because I love to write--best way for me to express myself other than through theatre. I enjoy writing short stories, poems, and plays.

My hometown is Falls Church, Virginia, but I go to school in Rochester, New York. I like to be far from home because there are a lot of triggers for me at home.

I'm known for being very spunky and energetic. I wish I could keep that up and have it always be sincere. I think I make a lot of people happy--at least those who don't know about my illness.

I know I have a lot of potential, so my goal is to be in a state of mind where I can make use of it and change the world. But for now, I'm taking it one step at a time, one day at a time, one minute at a time, as I try to overcome myself.
