Depression

I'm 19, I work at my local theatre on the bar and restaurant and at a local nightclub and thats about it. I'm qualified to work with animals but I can't get any work in that field. I don't really have any dreams or aspirations right now as I am confused and don't know where my life is going, although I think I want to go back to college.


I like deep meaningful conversations, singing to myself and anyone who'll listen [I love karaoke], and writing. I write a lot of poetry. I also post a lot of random blogs lol. I love animals, especially cats. They're so beautiful. My cat Meredith is my best friend. We have something of a love/hate relationship, but I still love her.


I suffer from OCD, compulsive skin picking, and low self esteem/depression. I'm a lover not a fighter. I just want to be loved and give love in return, in all its shapes and forms, even if thats just a compliment or a hug. Despite my life being full of rejection and hurt, I try my best to hold on to the hope that there's someone out there who will accept me for me. I guess I'm just a hopeless romantic lol. I have very negative views of the world and I hate my country, but I feel if I keep doing my bit to be kind, considerate and calming to people [even though I have a hot temper sometimes!], perhaps one day there will be world peace.


I've done a lot of growing up in the past 2 years. Now I'm ready to start seeking help for my issues and lay them to rest. I'm always here to listen and ready to talk. I don't judge..I've suffered at the hands of judgemental people enough in my life.

And so many more..

I don't read much..I get bored too easily. I prefer to write my own words than read others. Although I have read the LOTR trilogy, Pride and Prejudice and some Shakespeare..which was all captivating.

Writing and poetry. Its the only thing I've ever been anything more than average at.
