I like to try new things all the time whether it be food, physical challenges, visiting new countries etc.
I am fairly laid back and take things as they come. This approach may not be the best but i've had to learn it to get through. Worrying about things too much is not good for anyone.
I have had bipolar for about 18 years and suffered four or five really bad bouts during that time. It all started by losing someone i thought i would spend the rest of my life with. That first introduction to depression resulted in me being sectioned. I couldn't cope with that and it started a chain reaction that i have to deal with on a daily basis.

Enjoy the great outdoors. I find it a great escape. I often go mountain biking locally. The physical exercise is a good way of letting of steam. In fact i enjoy most sports.
I also like to sit down and watch a good film when i'm in the mood.

People who use the term 'depression' every time they feel a bit down. It makes it harder for those of us who really do suffer to be taken seriously
