manic depression's a frustrating mess

tried some cymbalta to no avail. ony valium and ambien w/ a benedryl chaser are tolerable. need an antideppressant/ mood stabilizer that elevates mood and keeps my focus. i ned to refi my house before it goes adjustable. i want to move back to san diego or other more enlightened city but they are too expensive right now. mostly i need to be well and able to function as i used to be a creative deign engineer and now am a chaotic mess!!

Hi Cheryl!! Very glad to know you!!! I know it will be hard to wean off your meds God knows i've done it a few times!! But that may give you a good baseline to see what will be best. Please feel free to tell me how you are doing and if you have any questions about meds - I know alot about them!! I will hold you in my thoughts and prayers and I know you will find what works best. I can relate to your frustration.  Right now my doctor has doctor has decided that the best course of action is to wean me off all of my meds altogther and see what happens Frown .  I'm pretty sick in the meantime and scared about what the future holds.  Let me know how things are going with you.  Good luck.
