Dear Miler I have been taking anti depressants for over ten years now continuously. I dont think that you can become immune to anti depressants. If one particular type does not work then there are others to choose from. I currently take a mood stabiliser lithium plus prothiaden and mirtazapine. Unfortunately I am relapsing at the moment and have had all my meds upped. My psychiatrist wants to put me on risperidone.I have resisted this so far. You can have too much serotonin however.
